How we rank traders
Nostra watches the traders on Polymarket’s monthly and all-time leaderboards in 10 topics, plus anyone opened in the app, and gives each one a score from 0 to 100.
The score weighs win rate (35%), return on money staked (25%), months finished in profit (20%), track record size (10%) and total profit (10%). To appear on a leaderboard a trader also needs at least 30 resolved positions.
How the score worksQuestions
Who is the best trader on Polymarket?
By the Nostra score it is 0xdbdd…a5de: a score of 88, a 83% win rate over 500 resolved positions and $1M all-time profit. The ranking is re-scored every week.
How is this different from Polymarket’s own leaderboard?
Polymarket ranks traders by profit or volume over a period, so one huge win can put someone on top. Nostra ranks by a score that weighs win rate, return, consistency, track record and profit together.
How often do the leaderboards update?
Every trader is re-scored every 7 days, and the rankings follow straight after. The date at the top of each list shows the last update.
Why do some traders not appear?
A trader needs a score and at least 30 resolved positions. Traders whose record looks incomplete, for example a near-perfect win rate together with a high return, are left out until the data checks out.
