What is a whale on Polymarket?
A trader who places very large bets.
Definition
A whale is a trader who places very large bets. There’s no official cut-off, and trackers each pick their own size.
In more detail
Whale trades are easy to spot because Polymarket positions are public. Size alone doesn’t mean skill, though: some whales lose big too.
Big positions near 95¢ or more are often money parked on an outcome the trader sees as settled, not a bold call.
How Nostra uses it
Nostra cares about how well someone trades, not how big. A whale only shows up in smart money if their score is 70 or more.
